My approach would be to talk to the student and highlight weaknesses, target them and then test that knowledge repeatedly to the point where you can’t go wrong. The voluntary tutor sessions I did last year were a success as a GCSE student moved up by 3 grades! The lesson would be 1 hour long usually as lengthy lessons can often lead to less productivity in my opinion. This would be split into multiple sessions with the final one being assigning homework for next time. What each session in the 1 hour slot entails can be discussed before the lessons start as this will be personally based on the student.
I struggled a lot during my revision in highschool and sixth form.Eventually i realised the best way to get top grades and succeed was to stop wasting time on notes! I achieved As and A*s in high school and then started voluntarily tutoring GCSE (high school) students. I’m now going on to study Medicine at a Russell Group university.

Always paid attention to details, very conceptual and focused. Highly recommended for great result in short time.
Arooj has been a supportive mentor during the pandemic as she voluntarily tutored family friends online to keep them on track while schools were closed.
