I always teach from the basics. For me, without a solid base, you are a mess. So I will start with what is a cell to its parts in details, followed by entering into molecular biology and genetics if required. For physiology, I always start from cells, tissues to various organs and then starting with blood to all the systems of the body, and ending with cancer.
But I am flexible. So I first try to figure out the student's strength and weaknesses, based on that I teach. So that everyone gets to know everything equally.
I have done Dentistry in my undergrads and practised for 4 years in India (my home country) before getting chance in University of Glasgow. Besides, I used to provide lessons of biology in batches for Medical entrance for last 2 years, in my country and in both the years, 60 percent of my students cracked the highly competitive medical exam. I am presently pursuing my MSc in Stem Cell Engineering and I am eagerly looking forward to carry out my teaching passion in Glasgow as well and help students achieve their dream..
