History does not have to be a dry sermon from a dusty textbook, nor a boring lecture. My philosophy is that history must be brought to life within the classroom, and that students can engage with the past not by memorising days and events, but by understanding the vital role of the Historian, and being able to analyse and digest the often challenging context of the past in its own right.
