My teaching method is about using meditation techniques in yogic postures or simple sitting postures to gain presence in every fibre of the body to enable each muscle to let go of tension, heal old wounds and revitalise. We will work our way from the outer layers of the physical body towards a grounded more refined awareness and calmness of the subtle layers of our being. I use techniques taught by the Buddha from early Sutras for calmness and insight. All levels are welcome to this class. This class is about reconnecting to our natural centre and sharpening our awareness in order to overcome any emotional, mental, and physical hindrances which come between you and happiness.
I am yoga and meditation teacher, a school teacher and a researcher. I have been practicing and exploring various forms of yoga and meditation for the past twenty years and I have completed a Master’s Degree in Traditions in Yoga and Meditation at SOAS University. I am able to find ways to bring complex teachings to children and adults in a clear and calm way with rich detail and clarity. My experience in practice brings and her academic studies in scripture bring a deep understanding to the nuts and bolts of various meditation and yogic systems.
