Anyone can be a linguist. I teach by ensuring that all four skill areas (reading, writing, listening and speaking) are covered, and place a lot of emphasis on grammatical understanding, as it allows you to be free with your language! I am a friendly and approachable person, and I understand that things don't always click on the first attempt.
I have been teaching French and German for two years in secondary schools, I teach pupils aged 11 to 18 and teach both GCSE and A Level.
I have a first class joint honours degree in French and German from Royal Holloway, and love helping others to improve their linguistic skills.
I am an organized, reliable and hardworking individual who is strong advocate for the importance of Modern Foreign Languages. As a fully qualified teacher, I understand and believe in the power of education and wish to help others achieve their goals.
