Everybody must be able to enjoy music. To succeed you need to feel confident. Each musical style hides its own values and qualities and I am sure I can help you find your own path to creation.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
As a composer my qualifications allow me to teach a variety of subjects; composition (Classical, music composition for TV, Radio and Film, songwritting), Piano, music theory, counter point, harmony, orchestration, score editing (Sibelius) and music technology (Logic).
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have obtained my Bmus in composition from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, artistic diplomas in Music Theory, Harmony, Counterpoint and orchestration from the Serres Conservatory in Greece. (Recognised by the ministry of culture in Greece). Grade-6 piano and grade-5 guitar.
- How much do you charge?
I offer a free consultation lesson for all studets. Please consult my subjects and price list. There will be an extra fee for travel expenses (5£) if the student prefers to have lessons at his house.
- Where do you teach?
I teach mainly at home but I am happy to travel to most parts of London.
- When are you available?
My timetable is flexible and I can also work evenings and weekends in addition to weekdays
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
I teach students of all ages and from beginner to advance level.
- What kind of experience do you have?
As a composer I have been commissioned from ensembles, soloists, festivals and concert halls including: Sounds New Festival (Canterbury Kent), Paxos Festival (Greece), EKON festival (London), the ERGON ensemble, the pianist Eliza McCarty. My music has been performed in major UK venues as well as abroad in USA, France, Greece, Spain, Lithuania and Japan. As a teacher I led numerous workshops in schools in the UK and abroad (Greece, Lithuania) and I work as a private tutor for the past 9 years.
