I provide a personalised learning programme for your child which compliments and supports what they are currently learning in school. I hope to encourage children to enjoy learning by making it a practical and real life experience.
- Which subject(s) do you teach?
I am an experienced teacher and usually tutor English, Maths for the national curriculum for KS1/2 and Chemistry and Biology GCSE. I also tutor verbal and non verbal reasoning for the 11 plus. I can adapt sessions to focus on the needs of the student or particular area that may be causing problems such as handwriting, tables, problem solving, spelling and reading etc.
- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have degree in Mathematics and Economics, a PGCE from the University of Lancaster and have a Masters in Theology from Birkbeck, I am currently reading for a PhD in Education as well a teaching in primary schools in Redbridge.
- How much do you charge?
One to one sessions at KS2 are £25 per student and siblings are £20 each. Grouped lessons at KS2, my fee is £20 per student up to a maximum of 4 students per session. These sessions will be individualised for each student attending. A free session is available to those students who recommend a friend after that friend has completed 4 sessions.
- Where do you teach?
I currently teach from my home in Ilford.
- When are you available?
I tutor Monday to Friday 4 to 7pm, sessions are an hour long, parents are advised to meet me before the first session to discuss the needs of the student and review my CRB. Parents are welcome to stay while the student settles to work and are advised to review the work completed when they collect the student. I also tutor on the weekends from 1pm to 5pm

English and Maths KS1 and KS2 GCSE Chemistry GCSE Biology.

SAT's, 7+, 11 + and GCSE Chemistry and Biology.

- What kind of experience do you have?
I am an experienced teacher with over 15 years experience of teaching in primary schools. I have also taught in Asia, so I have a good understanding of the challenges faced by parents and children who are new to the British Education system. I am a trained one to one tutor for the government and use accelerated learning techniques to enhance the learning for each session. I currently teach in Redbridge and have an up to date CRB. I am happy to answer any question you may have.
