My aim, first and foremost as a teacher, is to help actors develop a sustainable and healthy relationship towards acting and life. I was compelled to start offering actors what I felt was an area that was most overlooked in the industry yet the most helpful towards becoming a better, happier actor - Mindfulness
I offer bespoke private acting session as well as group classes aimed at approaching acting training through the lens of mindfulness and compassion.
For those looking for personal guidance or tailored acting sessions. These can include bespoke work aspects such as:
• Audition & Monologue Coaching
• Drama School Audition Prep
• Script & Character Analysis
• Mindfulness-based Actor Warm-Ups
• Awareness & ConcentrationTraining
• Meditation for Acting & Auditions
• Mindful Life Coaching
All acting methodologies have their merits but through filtering them through the principles of mindfulness we can see what, how and why each technique works for us as individuals.

Perfect! Great first lesson. Daniel explained everything properly even using examples. He made me feel comfortable and know exactly what I want from my lessons. Would highly recommend.
Toni is passionate and driven for the right reasons. She comes across as ready to do what it takes to become a professional actress and put in the work to fulfil her dreams!
Perfect! Working with Daniel is illuminating! During the time spent with him I had the constant feeling that He genuinely wanted to get the best out of me, and I felt like I could trust him and I can improve a lot with his help. I’ll recommend him 100%!
A committed and humble guy with a passion and intensity you relish as a teacher.
Dan is one of the best teachers I have ever had. I started working with him after I had lost all confidence in my ability and my work, and, having attended many acting classes in my time, I was blown away that Dan was as interested in my hang-ups about acting as he was in my ability. He gave me so many useful tools to use when dealing with doubt, low confidence, motivation, as well as his incredible knowledge of meditation. These tools provided me with such relief and I continue to use them daily in my work. Dan also taught me that vulnerability was okay, in fact, it was more than okay, it was the most important thing you could possess as an actor, and this has made me braver both in my work and in my life. Ultimately, I am calmer, resilient, more efficient, kinder to myself, and braver as a person (never mind as an actor!) for having worked with Dan. I cannot recommend him enough.
Dan is a fantastic tutor. I definitely recommend him to anyone, especially those seeking help to break down their barriers. He has taught me to approach acting and monologues using our basic human instincts and always helps me to use my own personal situations (without being invasive) to make my acting more convincing. Brilliant acting guidance and on top of all this he’s such a lovely person!
Dan’s classes are second to none.
I have been to a number of different classes in Manchetser but I have never felt like I had gotten so much out of one class as I did with Dans scene study classes, he really pushes you to step out of your comfort zone and fully commit to your performance.
Dan emphasises on the authenticity of a performance and gives you relevant exercises to best improve your practical skills.
I have taken part in a number of Daniel's classes including Scene Study and 1 - 1 sessions. Daniel creates a very welcoming and safe space for actors, a environment in which you feel safe to fail, to try new things and to be vulnerable. Throughout my sessions Daniel would encourage me to be self-confident enough to push the boundaries of my own abilities and my emotions; to understand that in order to progress as actors we have to be free. Free of our own self doubt and free of our ego.
Daniel's lessons and philosophy is built on a foundation of mindfulness, which encourages you to be mindful, to be present in the moment. This has helped me tremendously, in multiple productions I have performed in since, to focus my mind on the present moment, to give a more honest and authentic performance.
If you are looking for a class to help you progress as an actor or as a person, and require a safe environment to push the boundaries of your abilities, I would highly recommend Daniel. Who we are as a person, is who we are as actors and as Daniel would say: "The path is the goal, the goal is the path"
