Suitable for lovers of mindfulness or complete beginners.
During a lesson I will determine your level of experience in mindfulness and run through a mindfulness practice with you. Practising mindfulness over the past few years has helped me manage my anxiety and be kinder to myself.
You won't need any equipment. Some people like to have a blanket to keep themselves warm during the practice, or a mat if they are lying down but others prefer to sit up during the practices. Whatever you choose it is important to be comfortable but alert during the practice, although if you fall asleep perhaps you just really needed some sleep!
I am happy to offer individual or group mindfulness lessons in a course structure or to suit you. Each one of us is different, and have different needs at different times and I seek to recognise that.
I trained with the Mindfulness Association to teach the Mindfulness Based Living Course as it is about bringing mindfulness to daily life in an accessible way. I like to introduce stories and poetry and bring my courses alive. I continue studying and learning myself so my training stays fresh and up to date.
