My teaching is aided by my own past experiences of stress, anxiety and burnout, which enables me to engage effectively with client's needs and to tailor my training/coaching accordingly. Having worked in the corporate, SME and self employment sectors, I can also use my experience of business to fine tune my coaching to resonate with the business orientated individual if needed.
I am able to offer a free initial phone consultation. I deliver a 6 week training course based on Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT).
Neuroscience shows that practising mindfulness can structurally change the brain by developing the prefrontal cortex region of the brain (responsible for planning, decision making, judgement and social interaction) and the hippocampus region (associated with learning and memory). The brain’s Amygdala (associated with fear and emotion) is seen to reduce in size.
Mindfulness can be incredibly empowering for helping boost happiness and improve mental resilience for the challenges and uncertainties in life.
I am a qualified mindfulness trainer with origins in workplace mindfulness, but able to teach mindfulness for use in both personal life and business to help manage stress and anxiety. I have been practising mindfulness for over 5 years and meditate daily. I teach clients from my hilltop farm, which provides a unique setting to learn in and is conducive towards helping clients to gain a sense of space and perspective. Clients are welcome to take a walk or run on the farm after a mindfulness session.
