Methodology

Mindfulness is a fantastic and transformational life skill. Everyone is unique and with mindfulness and meditation, each individual resonates with slightly different tools and practices. My sessions not only give you various techniques which allow you to implement your own meditation practice that suits you, the sessions incorporate enquiry and coaching, to allow you to fully understand your experience, your core needs and values, and together we can set empowering goals for you to work towards.

Experience

I have been practicing mindfulness for over seven years, and throughout my journey, I have been taught in various schools. Experience is fundamental when it comes to mindfulness; a teacher must be a practitioner. I have completed the Mindfulness-Based Health Course, Mindfulness-Based Living Course, and the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course, not to mention attending numerous classes on meditation, Buddhism, and Zen, alongside partaking in a vast number of meditation retreats that ranged in style, depth, and practice. Not only this, I practice formal and informal mindfulness every day; for me mindfulness is a way of life. To top this off, I've completed various weekend-long coaching for transformation courses, which is used in conjunction with the mindfulness training, to allow the student to learn mindfulness techniques, whilst also ensuring a greater understanding of their experience, and identifying with core needs, values and goals, to allow personal development in the direction they wish to go.

It is rare in life to happen upon someone who exudes such passion for helping others. That is how I would describe Kay.
Kay has such a warm and welcoming manner, it is impossible not to feel instantly at ease in her company.
Mindfulness is certainly a life enhancing skill, and with Kay's support and guidance it is definately a skill I will continue to nurture.
I am humbled to have met such a genuine and caring tutor and I wouldn't put such trust in anyone else.

Kay is a lovely lady devoted to helping learners embrace the life changing art of mindfulness. I thoroughly enjoyed a 3 week beginners course, looking forward to each lesson more and more. Kay has a gentle soothing voice for guided meditations and has an open, warm and welcoming approach. Each lesson was like an oasis of calm in a busy work week and I was taught simple techniques that I could take home with me to practice. I thoroughly recommend Kay as your teacher!
