I aim to teach in a way that is more enjoyable for the students, as they'll be more likely to truly want to interact and take on board the information that way. I often try to incorporate the culture of Spain into the learning as well to not only improve students' language skills, but also their knowledge of the country itself (and other Spanish speaking countries too). I always aim to lead by example, and I understand many English students can struggle with fully grasping a modern foreign language, but as an English speaker myself, I know how to motivate students to get more out of them and have them more enticed in the lessons.
I am a student at Swansea University currently studying Advanced Spanish, and Beginner's French. I taught students Spanish while I was at school and as a Spanish Prefect, often found myself filling in for absent staff to cover their lessons, as well as leading the weekly Spanish club which tried to find less "formal" ways of encouraging students to interact with learning a language.
I would be willing to discuss some changes in the rate dependent on the child's age, ability, and specific learning focuses (i.e. more oral, written, listening, etc.). Please provide 24hours notice of cancellation if possible, thank you.

Private Investigator (Work Experience)
Designed Professional Management Facilities (DPMFacts) - London
June 2018 to July 2018
Unfortunately, I could only manage to have one day of work experience with this company, due to both my own and their availability. However, while I was there, I had to use some deep-thinking techniques to find weaknesses in police's statements and assist in taking pictures to prove the incoherence of the police officer’s statement potentially further. I learnt how to use my initiative to help me think deeply about something and question the smallest details, or lack of details, and determine what it is that the lack of detail, or overuse of detail might mean.

Certifications and Licenses
An Introduction to Safeguarding
April 2018 to Present.
I have completed an online safeguarding course, through one of my childcare jobs, which has given me an understanding how to protect children from issues, and how to recognise and identify something as a safeguarding issue. It has also taught me to understand how the protocol works if I identify a safeguarding issue.
Channel General Awareness module
July 2018 to Present.
I have, through a childcare company I work for, completed a Prevent Duty, whereby I understand how to prevent radicalisation from a young age, and I understand the protocol as to how I can deal with any signs of developing radicalisation in children.
Paediatric First Aid
April 2019 to April 2022
Emergency and Full Paediatric First Aid Training, including Defibrillator training.
September 2014 to September 2018
Has helped me to socialise well, learn how to form close bonds with people quickly, build my mental and physical strength, and allowed me to take on some leadership roles.
Bromley FC Academy
September 2017 to June 2018
I was a goalkeeper at the Bromley FC Academy where I trained three times a week and played once a week, which fitted into my A Level timetable perfectly. It has helped me develop physical strength as well as dealing with pressured situations and improving my decision-making time.
Salvation Army Soldiership
April 2017 to Present.
I have been attending services at the Salvation Army since I was roughly two months old and furthered my commitment of a Junior Soldier by becoming a Senior Soldier with them. I have the ambition to become an Officer (minister) with the church as a future career. This has helped me develop my emotional, mental, and spiritual strengths as well as helping me find myself and working out where I want to take my life in the future for the long term.
I was a volunteer leader at my church's Kids' Club where I helped every Friday evening for an hour, providing a safe place for the children to enjoy themselves by providing themed, planned activities. I volunteer with a group of 2-4 other leaders, and often have parents staying throughout the sessions, so I have managed to build bonds not only with the children but also their parents. I have completed a child Safeguarding course through this volunteering.
I have a very determined mindset and always aim to get a job or task completed to the highest standard possible - I always commit myself fully to whatever it is that is handed to me. I am extremely polite and respectful and therefore am easy to get along with for both staff and clients. I am approachable and calm, so I am trustworthy. I can carry responsibility very well but if I do make a mistake then I can handle criticism very well by taking it on board and acting differently next time - I would like to say I do learn from my mistakes! I can motivate myself and others to complete a task well so benefit both of us.
I have excellent spoken and written English and have some understanding of spoken and written Spanish as I have studied it at school for several years now.
