Teaching qualification - C&G 7303 (Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector).
Guitar - Grade 7 Acoustic (Distinction).
Music Theory - Grade 5 (Distinction).
Songwriting - O.C.N. Level 1.
- How much do you charge?
£10 per half hour.
- Where do you teach?
At home in Beechdale, Nottingham, which is also close to Bilborough, Aspley, Wollaton and Radford.
- When are you available?
3.30 p.m. til 9 p.m. most days.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
Age 7 upwards, beginners to intermediate.
- What kind of experience do you have?
I have been a professional musician for 25 years and have played in jazz, folk, pop, rock and dance bands. I have taught adults and children to play guitar individually and in groups during that time, as well as participating in running children's after school music clubs, and have taught a Learn to Read Music course for a community music project. I have also been employed by Castle College, Nottingham (now South Notts College) to teach O.C.N. Songwriting.
