I am an extremely detail-oriented and patient individual and that is reflected in my teaching. I approach each topic in a very gradual and detailed manner. During the several study sessions I have conducted, I observed that most students fail to understand topics because their basic fundamental concepts are not clear. Hence, I prefer to spend more time at the start of the topic, on these basic fundamental. Once their foundations are concrete, the rest of topic, automatically falls into place. I am extremely patient with students and strongly encourage them to work at their own pace, instead of panicking and rushing through topics.
I would be an ideal teacher for undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of economics and finance. Especially for postgraduate students who don't have a background in economics and finance. I am also willing to take up GCSE and A-levels students.
I am from India and I have spent the past two years in the UK, completing MSc. Economics and Finance (University of Bath, 2017-18), which was followed by MSc. Quantitative Finance (University of Manchester, 2018-19). These courses are extremely quant-based and hence, I can be relied on. I spent the summer of 2017 teaching underprivileged students Mathematics and English (school-level). I have conducted and lead several study sessions, throughout my undergraduate and postgraduate days. I am currently looking for a job in the financial markets. Given that it could be a lengthy process, I have decided to taking up tutoring, in order to stay in touch with my academics, keep my mind sharp and earn some extra money.
