About the lesson
I am very open minded when it comes to teaching as I believe every pupil learns differently therefore I try to apply as many different learning strategies as possible. I am very optimistic with my approach to learning therefore depending on the pupils age, the lessons would consist of various activities and games to keep the pupils entertained and motivated to learn. The lessons would also include diffeeent playing techniques so we would be “covering it all”. By building different skills right from the beginning and applying to playing, the students will progress faster in their instrument learning. I believe it is also very important to build solid foundations right from the start because this will help a lot once facing greater challenges.
I tend to use different song books along with a theory book on the side so we could build. musicianship skills at the same time and nothing gets neglected.
I am a determined and self-motivated individual. I am a good listener and enjoy learning and applying new skills. I enjoy good humor and I am a willing learner who illustrates an enthusiastic approach to my work.

About Konstancija
During my years of education, I have attended Queens Park Community School where I had opportunities to help school's orchestra and strings section. This has given me experience of working with larger pupil groups. I learned how to lead ensembles and small orchestra sections. I would also help individual students who were struggling with their parts.
I have graduated from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of music and dance and gained my bachelors degree in Viola Performance, however currently are in process of completing my Masters degree in viola too.
I have many years of experience teaching in groups and one to one. I have taught more than 10 pupils in the past at once therefore I also have experience in working with larger groups.
Majority of the student I have taught were not interested in taking any grade examinations however with my help and working from grade books they have made significant improvements going up from one grade to another in just over a month.
2 of my previous students has also entered grade 5 violin exams and achieved distinction, merit.

My daughter is currently on grade 8 and preparing for NCO main auditions! Konstancija has helped her tremendously with intonation, rhythm, tonality and exercises to make her playing clean, strong and melodious. Konstancija is very passionate about music and the energy she brings to a lesson is clearly felt by non musicians too. My daughter feels proud and confident about her playing now. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is interested in learning to play violin or viola.
Connie is an amazing instrumentalist and a great tutor. She is very passionate about her work and always pulls all the stops. She has a great understanding of the instrument technically and musically and dedicates her time and effort to share her knowledge with her students.
In less than 7 lessons, Konstancija has taught my little one how to play the violin and read musical notes and she is confident doing so. She's not only concerned about the course but also shows care to what my kid cares about. I am looking forward to the next summer holiday to have Konnie continue the lessons. Konnie is highly recommended.
High skilled, with large of experience and very professional.
