I believe that music lessons should always stay relaxed and fun. As a younger piano player and student, I know that music theory and having to practice can sometimes seem more daunting than enjoyable hence why I want to make sure you are comfortable at your own pace. My style is more about the passion rather than the perfection.
Depending on what you're looking for I can adapt my teaching methods to suit your needs and the level you are looking for:
- For piano lessons: I can help with focusing on particular pieces to learn and score reading depending on your level (The genres I know best are classical and popular music)
- For music theory/music lessons: I can help with understanding of lessons and concepts for school work up to A-level. I can also give advice/help for songwriting, composition and music technology based subjects with my degree background.
I've been playing the piano for 15 years at Grade 8, and have acquired a 1st honours Music degree from the University of Sussex (composition). I've helped teach ukulele during my A-levels and have directed school events (choirs and ensembles).
