Well, I would teach based upon the student and how they learn piano. I'd start the lessons with finding out how someone best learns pieces. Students are welcome to bring a piano piece! (I have some piano books if they don't know what piece to start with yet.) I can help with techniques and how it'll make playing piano easier for the individual. I want to make piano enjoyable. (Even when it comes to performance pieces)
I am a music/psychology/film studies student- I'm currently in my first year of college. I've been playing piano since Year 9, and I have had piano lessons since then. I've helped people with pieces they have been playing before, but never charged for it. I'd be happy to teach between Grades 1 to 5 on the piano and I'd be happy to help with music theory and sight reading. (I'm currently doing Grade 6 theory)
If Grade 1-2 it'll be £10 an hour, Grades 3-5 will be £15 an hour. If you need to cancel, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance.
