My name is Josh and I am a university student studying music production at Staffordshire University. It is important to understand that I have no professional guitar qualification and so my teaching style will be very unique to how I have taught myself. My lessons will vary upon the student but will cover; basic guitar technique-finger placement and holding the instrument; chords-using chord shapes and changing chords; scales-learning scale patterns and how this enables you to play solos and lead guitar; and finally song learning, actually playing something in time, using all the techniques above. Each lesson I will work on a song with the student as well as helping with general practice.
