I believe music is a skill everyone has within them, and with some practise and determination, anyone can become a musical genius! I try to make lessons as fun but as constructive as possible whilst maintaining a strong relationship with each student, working based on both their strengths and weaknesses.
I have been involved with music for as long as i can remember. Growing up in a musical family allowed me to progress in many different instruments, performing in numerous concerts and festivals. I am especially experienced in piano, singing and trombone.
I have achieved these grades in musical exams -
Grade 7 - Trombone, Singing, Piano, Violin
Grade 6 - Guitar
I also play the trumpet and drums!
Currently I am working on music A level, getting a level 9 in music GCSE
Having a family of music teachers has allowed me to be involved in many concerts and rehearsal periods, having a lot of work experience in organising and directing children. I have helped a lot with singing technic, as well as directing big group music works.
I have also started to help GCSE students with set works - I know the amount of work for this!
