As an 18 year old, studying a Music BA degree, I find it easy to relate to any stresses or problems the pupil may find studying Music, as I have done the GCSE and A Level in it, and taken many graded exams over the years. I take a gentle approach to studying to help relax them, ease them into any tricky ideas - as there are many in music theory, and help them achieve the results they want.
I have tutored pupils in different subjects before: e.g: Music, Mandarin and Religious Studies - though I will be prepared to tutor music on here. I play violin, cello, piano and sing, with grade 8 with distinction on violin, cello and singing, and grade 6 piano, so I have plenty of musicianship experience, and use this to help with music theory in academic music. I achieved an A in my music A Level, under the difficult, new Edexcel A Level mark scheme, achieving a score of 59/60 on the performance section (playing cello).
