Music technology is a very nuanced area, students often have a wide range of goals and skill levels in different areas. I try to find a balance between the most useful techniques and the most engaging practices for that particular student, to keep you engaged and enthusiastic.

I was Sam's Lecturer across multiple modules for his Undergraduate studies in Popular Music at Goldsmiths, University of London. Across the three years of Sam's degree, I found him to be a very able student both academically and in his creative practice work, and was unsurprised at the end of his time with us to see that he achieved an excellent final degree result.
As a learner, Sam was independent, thoughtful, patient, self-motivated and very committed, and I have no doubt that these characteristics would serve him similarly well as a tutor.
