I am a first year music student at the university of Sheffield looking to give lessons to beginner to intermediate players. I have been playing for nearly 8 years and am working towards an LCM diploma in jazz guitar. I am typically very relaxed when working with pupils and will tailor my lessons to their ability and preferred style. For guitar, I find that the most effective way of learning is tablature and chord charts, however, I am able to read notation if that skill is one that the student wishes to develop. As I am a full time student, location and time of the lessons would have to be discussed prior to arrangement. Thanks for viewing!
I am fairly new to teaching and have only taught one pupil prior to university. However, it was clear that there was significant improvement over a short space of time after enrolling in the lessons. In addition, I am very enthusiastic to add to my experience.
