Lessons will be structured around the students needs and where they most need improvement. In theory, this could range from simply learning how to read music to revising musical terms, intervals, cadences. In piano practice, I would assess the level of the student and go from there. Each student is different and whether they’re an adult or a child, to teach and help is incredibly rewarding
I am a Music BA student studying at the university of York. I have a distinction in grade 8 piano and grade 5 theory. I got a 6(A) in music IB as well as A in GCSE Music and am planning to specialise in composition. I am currently working on my piano diploma too and am happy to pass on the skills I’ve learnt over the years
