Regular French Lessons:
(scroll down for GCSE lessons)
With me, you'll learn French by focusing on the interactive, communicative and fun aspect of French. Languages are learnt to communicate, that's the essence of learning a language in the first place.
So forget about boring, one-way lessons: I don't lecture French, I teach it. For me, it is important to start speaking straight away at your own scale, even if you are a beginner.
If you're looking for fast results and a way of being fluent fast, then you're at the right place!
* Maybe you have difficulty remembering words? We’ll use rhymes, acronyms and other word games to help remember any concept.
* Maybe you prefer learning vocab while reading? I can find you topical books or articles to read.
* Maybe you don’t want to learn too specific vocab but to get by in any situation? I can teach you to talk your way around a word and paraphrase.
The possibilities are endless and I will constantly work on adapting the teaching to your own learning styles.
**But… Will French people understand me?**
Of course: because you are learning French with a French native, you have that definite advantage of the pronunciation.
If you are lucky enough, and interested, I will explain to you the main principles of phonetics and phonology, how our mouth works and so on!
**I’m scared to ask but… What about grammar?**
You have probably heard that French grammar is among the most difficult in the world...
The good thing is, we will do it bit by bit. I don’t believe that learning big and boring chunks of grammar will help you in any way.
Our learning will take us to things that you may not know how to express… yet! That’s when we will tackle the grammar: learning the grammar points in context and using what we call a communicative method.
**Ok, I’m tempted… Now what?**
Contact me: we’ll be able to discuss what you actually need and you’ll be able to ask me any question that you may have.
Then, we can set a first Skype lesson of 45 minutes for FREE to get to know each other, discuss your needs and see if you actually like working with me (yes, because that’s important too).
If yes, great! We can set future lessons and the frequency of when you want them.
If no, then no hard feelings and I hope you’ll find your perfect tutor soon!
Being, speaking and teaching French are my specialities.
