Learning is just like exercise.
If you wish to strengthen your muscles, you do not work out intensely once a month, but rather for shorter periods of time, every single day.
This is how I approach learning a new language. I speak Norwegian and English natively, but have previously studied Chinese and Spanish in school, both languages that were once foreign to me. By incorporating parts of the new languages into my daily routine, through movies, TV-shows, books and of course with plenty of help from great teachers, I achieved the great pleasure of seeing myself learn more of the new languages every week.
That being said, I firmly believe in the power of fun and enjoyment. Find a way to learn which entices you, makes you feel engaged, and allows you to develop a desire to learn.
Together, we can find out what works best for you. With regular practice and an exciting work plan, you will master the English language with joy!
I have attended the International Baccalaureate for the past two years, studying English A Language and Literature at Higher Level. I am currently studying in an international environment, and have a passion for language and learning.
