I teach students of every level (beginner to university level), and any age group. At the Alliance Francaise, I specifically taught 2 children classes, 3 beginner classes (A1), 2 intermediate classes (A2-B1), and 2 advanced classes (B1-B2). My approach is based on communication and participation to generate significant student involvement in the class in a quasi-immersive state. In beginner classes I tend to speak only in French after 5 lessons. In higher-level classes I enjoy engaging in literary and philosophical discussions with my students.
I have been a freelance French tutor for two years and, until recently, a French professor at the Alliance Francaise de Milwaukee. I have taught private lessons and classes for students of every level. I graduated first class from SOAS, University of London with a Master's Degree in Law, Development, and Globalisation. Currently, I am a Ph.D. student at Goldsmiths, University of London researching the construction of French identity and its link to colonialism.
