My initial approach is to give individual attention to each one of my students in order to determine the German-level they are at. This helps me utilise a range of resources that are focuses on my students abilities. I also prefer to build a more relaxed environment by increasing interactions between the students and myself. This is achieved by me providing interactive quizzes in addition to one to one conversations on the students academic progress. These help me to customise lessons based on the required contents my students need in order to develop a deeper understanding of the subject. During lessons, I specially emphasise on giving logical examples. Furthermore, I structure my lessons by introducing a new topic through stating the general rules, explaining the processes logically, giving examples and then looking at practice questions to demonstrate the new skills learned.
In every lesson I focus on being concise and clear, but also very detailed and factual when answering questions.
I am a Native German speaker currently studying Biology, Chemistry, German and Psychology at A-Level. At GCSE I achieved a grade 9/A** in German. In Germany, I have taught German, Maths and Science to multiple Gymnasium (equivalent to Grammar School) students who have achieved outstanding grades in each of their subjects (A*-B). Additionally, I have written articles/stories for my old school's monthly newsletters, and furthermore have participated in an inauguration where I had the task to present a speech in front of the city mayor. Hence I am very confident in my German verbal and writing skills. Since I have also volunteered at a local pharmacy, I was able to have a conversation and help a German-speaking patient get their prescription.

Therefore, I am very confident in my German verbal skills and the have the ability to communicate with a range of different age-groups.
This verbal skill I was also able to use in a daily-life situation while working in a local pharmacy. There I had a conversation with a German-speaking patient, helping them receive their prescription and informing them about the instructions that needed to be followed when taking their medication.
