I usually start with basic questions to evaluate the level and the needs of the student (grammar, vocabulary, comprehension) and then try to provide exercises on an interesting topic to help improving general skills. I also like to end my lesson with a very short expression (oral or written) to practice.
I am a French 20-year-old student in biomedical sciences in Belfast.
I have studied languages at University College Dublin for one year and have given lessons there to students willing to improve their skills in French and succeed in their academic exams.
I am up to teaching any level and look forward to helping you with French!
I have know Axelle for years and I think she has the patience necessary to allow students not to be afraid of asking for clarifications. Plus she has interesting ways to explain things and always finds new ones in case there are still not clear or understood.
Axelle has helped for 3 months now and has really made me fall in love with French culture and the language itself (being frustrated with its difficulty since I started learning it).
My grammar got much better and my range of vocabulary became broader in a small amount of time!
I really do recommend her for study taking their French Leaving Certificate!
She is great at encouraging people and helping them. She is very patient and nice and will always do her best to help you ! She will always cheer you up and push you to do your best. She will be a very good tutor
