Learning starts and ends with a discussion, to truly understand something you must be able to talk about it. This is where I start with students I tutor in their honours year of biological sciences degrees. Learning should be about discovery as such i like to use modern event and developments to make courses more relatable and enjoyable.
I am currently writing my Phd thesis in neurophysiology. Previously I achieved a first class honours in Biomedical sciences. During my Phd I have been involved in tutoring honours students in theory and practical application of experiments and have taught classes in: microbiology, pharmacology, metabolism and mitochondrial function, fundamentals of practical biological and chemical sciences and forensic sciences.
