I teach my students history using the essential techniques. I suit my teaching around how the specific children learn but I have best taught prior students through investigating the past. I am always supportive of students throughout my lessons and make sure they have fun as well as learn.
I am a newly graduated PGCE student in History. I have been teaching history classes of 30 students for one year aged between 11 and 18. I have taught GCSE and A-Level pupils (AQA and OCR). I have 2:1 in BA (Hons) in History.

2017-2018: PGCE Secondary Initial Teacher Education History at the University of the West of England. I passed this course to become a teacher.
2014-2017: BA (Hons) in History at the University of the West of England. I achieved a 2:1 in this degree.
2007-2014: Kingdown School, Warminster. 4 A levels including History (C), as well as Further Mathematics, Mathematics and Art and Design. 9 GCSEs including History (A), English Language, English Literature, Mathematics and Science.
February 2018 – June 2018: The Wellington Academy, Wiltshire. A co-ed state boarding and day school for students aged 11-18.
October 2017 – February 2018: Sturminster Newton High School, Dorset a co-ed county community comprehensive school for students aged 11-19.
July 2016 – June 2017: Community and Welfare Officer at the Students Union at UWE. Gained Budgeting and Campaigning skills from running a campaign called Look after your mate. The campaign educated university students how to look after their friends/other students with mental health difficulties.
October 2016 – April 2017: Volunteer at Underfall Yard. Gained beginner database system creation skills in Excel. Also research skills into legal documents on funding and ethics that are essential to creating a survey for their visitors. The presentation skills of the results of the survey. This survey and database system was essential to the Underfall Yard Trust who needed to report its findings to the Heritage Lottery Fund.
August 2015 – June 2016: Peer Assisted Learning Leader. Part-time at University for one year.
November 2014 – November 2015: Counters Sales Assistant at Morrisons. Part-time at University for the first two years.
November 2013 – January 2014: Customer Advisor at Argos. Temporary part-time over the Christmas holidays.
