About the lesson

I graduated from Clare College, Cambridge in June 2011 with a degree in music. I have lots of teaching experience with students of all ages and endeavour to pass on my enthusiasm to all my students.

- Which subject(s) do you teach?

My degree specialised in music theory and music performance. I now work as a freelance choral and opera singer with choirs such as the Monteverdi Choir. I also have experience teaching students for ABRSM exams in theory and performance (vocal and flute). I would also be happy to tutor A-Level and GCSE music, alongside GCSE French.

- Tell me about your qualifications.

I graduated from the University of Cambridge with a BA (Hons) in Music (2:1). I have A Levels in Music (A), French (A), and Latin (A). I have taken ABRSM exams in singing (Grade 8 distinction) and flute (DipABRSM).

- How much do you charge?

My basic hourly rate is £25. I offer a discount for consultation lessons.

- Where do you teach?

I live in Whitechapel but am happy to meet in mutually convenient locations or to travel to students' homes but may have to negotiate an additional fee for any considerable distances.

- When are you available?

My availability is flexible and includes evenings and Saturdays. I am able to offer tuition both during school hours as well as inside and outside of term time.

- Which ages and levels do you teach?

For music tuition I am happy to teach any age or level. I would also be happy to coach students to university applications including the preparation of specimen work and interview technique.
