I am an enthusiastic computing tutor with over 10 years of coding experiences and over 6 years of teaching experience.

- Tell me about your qualifications.
I have a Ph.D. and MSc in Media and Arts Technology from the School of Electronic Engineering and Computer Science, Queen Mary University of London. My research and artistic work investigated non-verbal interaction and expressions using a mixture of motion capture techniques, electronics, and programming. I also have an MA in Digital Arts in Performance where I made my first interactive installation pieces, again using movement tracking cameras, sensor-based electronics, and coding. Previous to this I have a BSc (Hons) Music Technology.
- How much do you charge?
I charge £30 p/h.
- Where do you teach?
I can teach in students' homes around Hackney and surrounding areas: including Clapton, Stoke Newington, Tottenham, Homerton, Mile End, Victoria Park, Stamford Hill. I will potentially travel within 3 miles of Clapton.
- When are you available?
During term time I am available the following times:
Monday 5 - 8pm
Tuesday 10am - 1pm
Wednesday 10am - 1pm and 6.30 - 8pm
Thursdays 10am - 8pm
Fridays 10am - 8pm
Saturdays 10am - 5pm
Sundays 10am - 5pm
During holidays I am available 10am to 8pm weekdays and 10am to 5pm on weekends.

KS2 or students aged 7-9 years old (Scratch / Bitsbox)
KS3 or students aged 10-13 years old (P5.js / Python)

- What kind of experience do you have?
I have over 6 years of experience teaching creative computing and programming. I have taught undergraduate and masters modules as a teaching assistant including subjects: procedural programming, data structures and algorithms, graphical user interfaces and web authoring. I have lead 1 day to 1 week workshops teaching creative coding in processing (Java) for schools, museums, hospitals and clubs. Currently I am a tutor for Blueshift Coding, where I teach after school clubs, holiday camps and in-school teaching in Python, Bitsbox, Scratch and simple robotics. I have also been employed as a research assistant for a project called teaching London computing that taught primary and secondary teachers the new computing curriculum.
