I have a varied history of study as i began playing classical music then progressed on to jazz. I studied at the college of SienaJazz in Siena, Italy under Klaus Lessman and Feruccio Spinetti, and at St Andrews' University with Richard Ingham and Richard Michael. I am also lucky enough to be tutored regularly by Martin Speake in London, and by various other world-class musicians in workshops, short courses, and masterclasses. A few years ago I received funding from the Scottish Arts Council to attend a course hosted by the music department of The New School, New York City where i was able to study with Billy Harper, Armen Donelian, Andy McKee and Rory Stuart. Tim Richards taught me jazz piano at Goldsmith's College, London.

Just to say how much I'm enjoying your lessons and the whole experience of learning the clarinet. Not easy, so much to learn and focus on, however, I'm fulfilling a lifetime's musical ambition so it feels good.
