About Morgan
My name is Morgan and I am a Registered Nurse. I Graduated from McMaster University in 2015, and have been nursing in pediatrics at McMaster Children's Hospital for 8 years. I began my Master's of Nursing in 2022, with a focus on teaching in the health disciplines. Throughout university, I was on the Deans list all four years and received an award for Outstanding Clinical Leadership in my third year. As a nurse, I am also the charge nurse of my unit and I am frequently a mentor for new staff or nursing students. In addition, I help to teach dialysis courses to other staff members within the hospital. I love to teach and i can't wait to work with you!

Tutoring is most beneficial for those in a Bachelor of Nursing Program, or those studying for NCLEX exam. I focus on clinical integration, critical thinking, and reflection. I offer a variety of pedagogical strategies to help individualize the learning to suit the learner's needs. I tend to focus on case-based and simulation-based learning, in addition to building on the learner's existing knowledge. I collaborate with the student to follow their institution's curricular requirements and meet assigned learning objectives and goals.
