I would be teaching online through the Skype screen-sharing feature, whereby I would display questions and write the solutions using my drawing tablet. Webcams are not necessary, only a working microphone for voice chat.
My approach would be helping to solidify the basics by practicing questions, with step-by-step instructions on completing the questions if the student has difficulty answering them.
And then I would use exercise sheets and past paper exam questions to give the student exposure to a wide range of questions on each topic, to find out where the weaknesses are, and improve upon them.
Lessons would be summarised towards the end, and there will be appropriate homework set based on the topics discussed, after the lesson is complete.
I am a Mathematics and Computer science university student, with an A* in A-level Mathematics and an A in GCSE Mathematics.
I have tutored at a tuition centre for a year, and I have had my own private tutoring students.
