12 years of school, A levels in Maths and English.
Russian language is my mother tongue.
Currently studying in the University of Plymouth, doing Civil Engineering (1st year).
- How much do you charge?
The fee for each hour of Maths tuition is £18.50
The fee for Russian tuition hour is £20.00
Preferred payment - cash
- Where do you teach?
Currently I am living in Plymouth, Devon. As I am a student I cannot afford buying any transport, so in most cases pupils will have to come to me. Do not worry about noise, as I live in a landlord's house and it is really comfortable to study here.
However, I can come to the pupil's home if he or she lives in 15-20 minutes of walking from me. I live in the Higher Compton area.
- When are you available?
I am fully available on weekends and I am guaranteed free on Mondays-Fridays after 5.30 p.m. Although, my university timetable varies and usually I am available much earlier.
- Which ages and levels do you teach?
KS 2 & 3, GCSE, A-levels.
- Describe your arrangements for online tutoring.
In my opinion Mathematics should be studied in face-to-face way, as teacher not only speaks, but also writes and draws, which is really difficult to do online.
As for Russian language I expect that the biggest part of pupils will be absolute beginners and at this stage it is much more effective for a tutor to see and clearly hear the pupil.
- What kind of experience do you have?
Russian language home tutoring.
- Do you have an up-to-date DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service, formerly CRB) Certificate?
- Tell me about some of your current students.
Currently I'm teaching an absolute beginner in Russian and also I'm helping a girl with her GCSE exam preparation.
