The type of Arabic I teach is Modern Standard Arabic, known as MSA. MSA is widely understood all over the Arab world, as it is used in all media outlets, from TV to newspapers to radio. Almost all Arabic books and other written material are in MSA.
I use a communicative teaching style, which means I don't focus on translation, instead I aim to interact with my students in a way that allows them to experiment and try out the language themselves. This means that the student will be doing a lot of talking and will be practicing the language through different tasks and activities.
I have been teaching Arabic for over a year. These are some of the things that I have achieved with my students:
- write in and read the Arabic script
- improve their pronunciation of letters that are challenging to them
- helped complete beginners progress to higher levels
- explained challenging grammar rules in a simplified and easy way
- enhanced their conversation skills
If you wish to cancel, please do so at least 24 hours prior to the lesson.
Zahraa is an excellent tutor, who guided me in my first steps in learning Arabic. She made it very easy for me to learn the basics and to understand even more complex concepts. She is passionate about teaching and always ready to answer all my questions. I happily recommend her!
