I adapt my content, style, materials and pace to what my students want and need, and I can be flexible. I like to use pictures, games and video clips (unless you'd rather not) as well as conversation and exercises, and I like to link what I'm teaching with things the student is already familiar with.
I'm a tutor who's been teaching languages for 7 years - and many more as a volunteer. I added French to the list a couple of years ago, as I've spent years learning it myself and I know how to teach, especially language.
I met Steve a couple of years ago as he was helping to run a group for international students at my university. He is kind and friendly - always ready to see the need and help out. He has a deep understanding of different cultures and is extremely patient, while also speaking English very clearly and correctly. Totally recommend him!
Steve is a gentle, encouraging guy, with lots of experience in ESOL teaching. He's also lived abroad for many years and knows what it's like to have to communicate in a new language, and to have to settle into a new culture. Check him out - you wont regret it.
