I like to tailor my lessons to my students' learning styles. I can provide clear explanation and tips for remembering methods and information. I enjoy one to one tutoring as it allows me to concentrate on particular worries and help individuals to build confidence in passing exams. I provide fun and memorable resources to support my students' learning elsewhere.
I have worked as a teacher for five years and as a personal tutor for two. I have taught English as a foreign language in schools and to adults. I have taught English language, English literature and maths to GCSE level in the English school system. I am well practised in teaching students who have special educational needs such as ASD, dyslexia and specific language disorder. Helping students to pass their GCSE's last year, in some cases from predicted D's to actual B's was a wonderful and fulfilling experience.
