As a univeristy student I can help prepare High School Graduates or even first year students that will be or are doing Film Studies. I base my lessons on the ones I had by my proffessors, lessons will be a 50/50 mix of practical and theory as well as an array of subjects PERSONALLY CHOSEN by the student themselves. I would love to base everything I teach on what wants to be taught so no time is wasted on anyone's behalf.
I have a 2:1 (soon to be a First due to an appeal) undergreadute degree in Film Studies and are going onto doing a masters, practical experience of 3 years in the film indutrsy, work varied from proffesional director set work with Screen Yorkshire to own indepenedent advertisment videos. Anything from theory, anbalysis, contextualisation or practical based lessons can be taught.
Summary
I am a driven, creative and innovative individual who enjoys crafting my own ideas and working to help solve problems.
I am a warm and friendly person who is great with communicating to people, I love helping others and providing great customer service to those who need it. I am open and very easy to talk to, I can communicate quickly, clearly and efficiently to make sure that the person who I'm talking to understands me fully and clearly.
My work at university has helped me out tremendously in working in a team, as a filmmaker I understand how important roles and hierarchy is to make sure that any given task which needs to be completed, can be done so in an efficient manner.
If needed to work in a team; I take all directions & follow them down to the word whilst still being able to use my own initiative when required. I can also function well as a leader of a project or as an asset to the group.
Also, I operate well in busy & stressful environments, my experiences range from live broadcast programming which has been watched by over a thousand people to creating and managing personal projects for clients which I have sought out of my own accord. I thrive on pressure and challenges which give me an extra motivational kick in order to get the job done to a satisfactory effect.

I have worked in two different food factories, in many areas. The first factory I was in charge of making sure that the line I was working on operated smoothly and had no instances of stopping to make the daily quota. I also had a individual position in placing product on a fast moving line which was passed along to other individuals with their unique product which was all packaged in separate boxes.
At my second factory I was also in charge of the beginning of a production line placing pizza bases to be passed along to other workers which then placed pizza products onto the bases.
I currently work for Trinity Vision which is a production company and worked on various projects with them in various roles. I started there for a six week placement, however got hired after that and helped produce multiple videos for a variety of purposes one of the examples being a business conference video for the Leeds Trinity Business Network. During my time at the 6 week placement there I worked on 3 projects. All were promotional videos for two different local businesses and a charity.
I have worked freelance since the age of 18, contacting various small businesses around Leeds to suit their promotional needs with my video production expertise.

My peers and tutors noted my enthusiasm and commitment, voting me MVP.
In my second year I was tasked with making a 5-minute short film which I co-wrote, directed and Co-Produced. It has been submitted and accepted to a competition with a grand prize of £2500.
Another task was a negotiated media project of which I made a Documentary on Polish War cinema which I alone planned, directed, shot, audio engineered and edited.
I also was a sole Producer on a documentary for a module on my course. We were tasked to work as a team from the pre-production stages with set-roles for each team member. As part of the end of module assessment I was awarded recognition by the module supervisor.
As of my third year, I am making a 10-minute short film which I’ve written and are set to direct. As part of my dissertation I am making a self-produced documentary which delves into the ramifications of Brexit on the UK TV and Screen Sector.
Home
When not watching movies, I’m highly interested in cooking, I live with a friend and my girlfriend and each and every day I am the designated cook for the flat. I love to cook a variety of dishes but mainly east asian foods are my specialty. I love seeing my friends enjoy the food I make for them and seeing them satisfied after my service.
My other hobby is also a responsibility, which is caring for my cat. My mother found him 8 years ago and I have adopted him recently caring for his needs and making sure he is as happy as he makes me.
