I enjoy helping GCSE students tackle difficulties in their work, by identifying what they most difficult and finding practical solutions to these. As a visual learner myself, I particularly find it is helpful to teach using mind maps and timelines, but I believe it is most important to identify the best way that an individual learns and adapt to that.
I have worked as an assistant to GCSE English students, working closely with individuals to help them improve their work, providing specific advice in order to enable them to achieve their target grades. I worked with a variety of students at a range of abilities.
Miriam is a trustworthy tutor, to which I can testify as a fellow Oxford University undergraduate. She is a dedicated, conscientious, and kind individual, who is committed to academic development and social equality, being a volunteer.
She is a first-year history student at Oxford University and has an excellent academic record, having received great feedback from tutors and high International Baccalaureate grades. Furthermore, Miriam has extensive experience in tutoring, having worked at a secondary school alongside her studies.
Miriam is well-qualified in both character and academic standard to be a great tutor.
