I believe that *everyone* has the potential to learn and excel if they find the best method of learning for them. I aim to challenge my students to push themselves to meet the targets they have set for themselves, with respect to their own goals, life circumstances, and abilities.
I went to a high-pressure, academically rigorous secondary school and sixth form, and can completely relate to the stress and anxiety that these sorts of institutions can create for a student, especially if the method of teaching doesn't suit a student's method of learning. I believe in working collaboratively with students to figure out the method of learning and teaching that is best for their individual needs.
I also believe that the best students are the ones that enjoy their studies the most. I strive to make lessons as interesting as possible within the constraints of the syllabus, and encourage every student to discover what makes a subject exciting to them.
Hi, I'm Faith! I am a recent graduate of Oxford University with a BA (2.1 Honors) in Philosophy, Politics and Economics. During my degree, I mainly focused on Philosophy and Politics.
I am particularly interested in ethics, and all the ways ethics matters to elements of our daily life, such as in public policy, government, or in our relationships.
In September 2018, I will begin a MSc in Philosophy and Public Policy at the London School of Economics.
