I am a 3rd year PPE student at Oxford University and obtained an A* in GCSE maths and an A* at A Level maths in just one year. Whilst my academic attainment is evidence of my capabilities as a tutor, being a good tutor is about more than this. As someone who has had a very varied set of educational experiences - from underperforming Inner City London schools to the best university in the world - I have come to know which teaching methods work and which don't, and have also come to appreciate the power of the former. Given this appreciation, I know that a good tutor can make a real difference and am passionate about being one myself. I am proud that my approach, which includes being as engaging and interactive as possible, has yielded excellent results.
I have a wealth of experience tutoring maths, spanning 5 years. I started out tutoring with Explore Learning, which runs many tutoring centres across the UK. I tutored students between the ages of 4 and 14 maths and English in groups of up to 6 children. I have also privately tutored maths to several students and volunteered as a maths tutor with Action Tutoring, tutoring up to GCSE level.
I study Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Oxford University. I obtained an A* in A level maths a year early. I have a wealth of experience tutoring maths and have tutored across age and ability ranges. All of my students have shown significant improvement thanks to my help.

Edwin has tutored my daughter in maths for several years. He proved to be a highly capable tutored, and my daughter excelled under his guidance. I am extremely grateful for Edwin and his tutoring capabilities. He helped boost my daughter’s confidence and helped impart in her a love for maths.
Edwin tutored maths to my 11-year-old son. He was an extremely competent tutor and was highly engaging. My son not only saw a significant amount of progress but also always very engaged throughout the each session. My son is now in a much stronger position as he prepares to sit his SATs exams
