I am an enthusiastic, passionate and engaging EFL Teacher, specializing in the teaching of Young Learners and Very Young Learners. I am fully TEFL certified, and have over five years of experience in the EFL industry, teaching in both China and France.
During this time, I have taught all ages from 2 years of age to adults, but predominately my interest (and experience) is with primary school age children from 4 to 11.
With over five years of experience in the EAL sector in China and France, I have naturally taught hundreds of children of the years, the majority between the ages of 3 to 12.
My focus is to encourage the use of speaking and listening in class, and to use the language my students have learnt.
I am also keen on teaching phonics and reading, which I feel are the building blocks to successful language learning.

Profile
I am an enthusiastic, passionate and engaging EFL Teacher, specializing in the teaching of Young Learners (YL’s) and Very Young Learners (VYL’s). I am fully TEFL certified, and have over five years of experience in the EFL industry, teaching in both China and France. Now, I am seeking to broaden and diversify my teaching credentials and experience, and move into mainstream Primary education back in the United Kingdom. For this, I am delighted to have received, and accepted, an offer of a place on the Primary PGCE at the Institute of Education, University College London starting in September 2017. To support myself while studying, and to provide another rich dimension to my teaching experience, I am seeking to obtain employment within the online English teaching sector.
