Passionate private tutor with 2+ years experience to help with SAT'S and 11+ in London!

About the lesson

I am patient and nurturing, whilst also challenging the student to push him/herself to a level of achievement they had not expected. I have a real passion for watching a student grow and develop confidence in their abilities. Homework is given each week, marked by myself, and then gone over with the student in the following lesson. As comfortable teaching a struggling student in need of a confidence boost as the one who is already doing well and merely seeking to excel.

Will start the lesson by going over the previous week's homework hand-in, which I will have marked. Based on student's result, can decide if reinforcement is needed, or if we can move onto another area. Constant consideration of what the student is currently being taught in the subject at school. Depending on how confident they are with it, we can either look to: brush up on and reinforce that; or "learn ahead", putting them in good stead.
