Having used a tutor when I was younger I am aware that everyone learns differently. For me personally that is via a combined approach, discussing topic areas and answering questions to ensure I have grasped the subject. However, I am aware that not everyone enjoys this method and would be open to tailoring my teaching style to fit the individual.
Prior to university I took Biology, chemistry and maths at A-level. With a real passion for biology I continued my studies at the University of Exeter, specialising within cellular and molecular biology. Having recently graduated this summer with a 1.1 honours degree I am now currently partaking in further education at the University College London, conducting my own research in the hope of securing a PhD. During my time at university I was involved within the mentoring scheme and a number of biology science open days set up to encourage younger students to learn about STEM. I am easy to talk to, patient and very much believe in the philosophy of there never being a silly question to ask.
Kaylee is a very reliable tutor. She is always punctual and organised. I trust her because she always goes the extra mile to help your understanding and to find answers for you. She is incredibly knowledgeable about biology and I have learned a lot from her.
