I am a primary education teacher from Australia living in Cardiff, I have done Teaching English as a foreign language training and have a lot of experience with people who have additional needs (SEN). I have an interest in turning my career to online education to help as many people globally as possible, which will help my development as a teacher.
My teaching pedagogy is to provide lessons that are catered to the interests and abilities of my students, I thoroughly encourage questioning and real life relativity (explaining how it could be used in day to day life). They way that I teach strongly focuses on engagement, so the lessons are relevant and catch the attention of the student.
Changing lesson time 2 hours before the lesson incurs no charges.
I began my Bachelor of Arts with a Major in psychology and education in 2013, and completed it in 2015. I then went on to do my Masters of Primary Education in 2016 and completed my first year, and was offered a summer camp position for 2017 in America so I took a year off my degree. I completed my Masters degree in June 2018.
I am a newly qualified primary school teacher and have had multiple experiences planning and teaching classes through university placements as well as teaching casually. I have also previously done before and after school care along with tutoring students aged between 7-12, who require increased instruction and support. These experiences have allowed me to build my knowledge and skills in teaching children in different learning environments. I have also been taught how to differentiate my teaching so that it is accessible to all students equally, this ability has been improved through teaching and working with students who have additional needs.

August 2018- Present – Casual Teaching at multiple schools in Western Sydney.
Teaching multiple classes of all ages and abilities, whilst adapting my lessons to suit every student students additional needs. As a casual teacher I have been contacted to work at 7 different school in multiple positions such as; relief from face to face and teaching students have additional needs. Each of these schools have different times for extra curricula activities and meeting along with the expectations of the school, in terms of behaviour expectations and consequences.
Through my experience as a casual teacher I have learnt that the best behaviour management technique is engagement. However some of the lessons I am left to teach aren't engaging so I have learnt to use multiple techniques to differentiate my teaching. I have been able to teach a large number of students as a casual and been successful at forming relationships with the staff and fellow teachers.
