I base my classes around individual students, whether they need help to increase their confidence or whether they would like to work towards an exam. As a tutor I like to work at a gentle and encouraging pace to allow students to learn as they go and see their progress throughout their time with me.
Miss Grace has been a performer since a very young age, beginning herself in classes just like Early Stages when she lived in Ireland. At the age of 8 she made her acting debut in Ardmore Studios for an advertising campaign. Throughout her childhood, she performed in many shows with Junior Musicals and The Annette Hynes School of Ballet and Modern Theatre.
Moving to Glasgow, Grace continued her work as a dancer, becoming one of the soloists for Performer’s Dance Academy in productions such as An American in Paris and Dance Macabre. Her time with the academy led to her position as assistant ballet teacher to her principal. With a detailed background in dance, she wanted to continue her work on acting, joining UK Theatre School for a few years. In 2010 she began vocal training with Gillian Lyndsey, where she was taught classical, opera, jazz and musical theatre technique. During these years, she was involved in many showcases as a performer and choreographer.
She graduated with a BA in Theatre and Drama in 2016 and has since been working as a performer and teacher across the UK.
Miss Grace is trained in acting, singing and dancing being involved in many theatre productions ranging from Shadow Puppetry to the first UK performance of “Island Song” by Carner Gregor. She has experience performing on stage, screen and working behind the scenes as a writer, director and producer. For details please her Grace's social media channels @GraceMcMusic. With several projects under her belt and some supporting work currently being filmed, she often takes from her industry experiences when creating her class plans, allowing the students to see a glance into the industry.
She now teaches across several performing arts schools and is looking to expand her private student numbers.
