Methodology

I am a personal trainer in Paisley in the UK with many years experience in the industry. I provide a free consultation giving us an opportunity to get to know each other and establish fitness goals and what type of training you might be interested in. I then propose a training package and plan for my based on your needs. Training can be focused on weight loss, muscle development, strength, cardiovascular fitness, mobility, high intensity, power lifting, callisthenics, body shaping, Olympic lifting, body sculpting, conditioning, sport specific development, nutritionally advice, interval training, fitness testing or combination of different things. I take a holistic approach, taking into account emotional and mental well being and provide appropriate support and adapt sessions to help. No matter what stage you are at on your fitness journey, even if your only thinking about it, I know you can do it. It’s never too late, no matter how far it seems or what your obstacles are I know you can. You are ready now, you don’t need to wait a moment longer.

Experience

I have a teaching degree and have taught fitness, movement and health in schools and in the community for ten years. I then developed my own personal training business in 2015 where I have helped hundreds of clients reach their goals. I added online training as a service for my clients in 2020 which proved to be a great success. I also have experience as a sports coach in various sports such as football, hockey and badminton. Additionally my exercise referral qualification allows doctors to refer their clients to me to help improve their condition through exercise. As a mobility coach I have also helped clients to heal and strengthen from short term and long term injuries and conditions.

I studied Community Arts with Shelly at Strathclyde University. Shelly was exemplary in her practice throughout the course and was a great person to work alongside.

On this course we worked with different client groups in many contexts and Shelly was always professional and enthusiastic and a great facilitator.
