My teaching method is very simple, firstly I pinpoint what aspect of the subject the student is struggling with, as English is a very broad subject I break it down into the variety of topics which make up English. When I find the students weaknesses I work with them to give them a better understanding, this is by teaching them the knowledge and then applying it to questions which then gives me the an idea if they actually understand what they have learnt. I will then go through the questions with them so they understand where they have gone wrong; this will encourage them to analyse their own mistakes and then put them right; thus preventing them from repeating the mistake in future. I will help sharpen their analyzing skills which is a very important aspect of English as well as applying their knowledge to exam questions. The students I work with range from the ages of 4 through to GCSE level. I am a very patient individual and I love to give my help and support to students as I know it can be stressful; I believe in every student and I push them as hard as I can and give them as much as support as I can, hence why every student that I have taught has passed.
I am a pharmacy student who has obtained a grade A at GCSE in English, I also have expert knowledge in Science as I did A levels in Biology and Chemistry; I have been offering my help and knowledge to many students and I can guarantee a minimum pass as no student of mine has failed over these 3 years. I have volunteered in primary schools as an English teacher to help children struggling with English reading and writing, which has helped me gain experience and knowledge to better my self as an English tutor.
If the student is below the age of 10 then I will lower the price to £10
